M-36 is the same price as before.

I suppose I could order an amberburst to avoid the icky yellow top...

Wonder when the new HD28 will be available. Anyone seen a release date on new models? Hope its not towards the end of 2018, would jump all over a 2018 HD28 in sunburst.

Default I can not figure out 2017 vs 2018 OM-21 difference

I have looked at the specs and read the forums. I can not tell the 2017 from the 2018.

You read my mind. I just purchased a 2017 D-28 in ambertone and love it so much that I’m going to grab a ‘burst HD-28 2018 asap.

So, am I incorrect that the only difference between the 2017 and the 2018 OM-28’s is the “aging” toner?

almost everything is now 1.75" nut? I don't get why they've gone this route

1 3/4 nut with ~2 3/16" string spacing is pretty much the market standard these days. The runaway success of the 2012 D-18 and 2014 000-18, combined with Taylor's success for years with its similar 1 3/4 nut / 2 3/16" spacing neck are probably the driving factors.

Okay, thanks. So purely cosmetic changes, nothing structural.

We've been through this. Those are just as they should be, and as Martin has installed them since the 1930's.
