Are you thinking of the LL16 and LS16?

My LS-TA has a baked top and solid sides and back, and it's a new model.

The all-solid, ARE (Yamaha's term for torrified top) Yamahas are the LS, the LJ and LL.

Yamaha A3's and A5's have ARE baked tops. These are all solid wood Yammies.

Hi I would check out the Yamaha website as Yamaha produce quite a few models now with ARE tops a Yamaha guitar should have ARE printed on the label inside the soundhole if it is applied to the top of the guitar
