John, it looks like you're gonna have some nice guitars to show! But brother, you've got a TON of work to do! Wow. But I do understand that building several guitars at one time is normal for you. I wish I could be at that show to see them and play them, but it isn't in the cards for me.

Good luck on your builds John!
You are right Woody. Its going to involve some late nights at the bench to get all these guitars done in time.

Sorry but we are going to miss Woodstock this year John. I know you will have a great time there. Baker is a great host.

Smile A+

Hey Tucker

Steve and Ryan, and John are usually A+!!!

If not better... haha!

My JKs are hurting every other guitar's feelings. Everyone else is neglected...

Cheers

Paul

This guitar has a chocolate mango back and side, cedar top, and as yet undetermined binding. Its going to have a floating FBE, carbon fiber tube reinforcing the neck block.
Very nice--this is my favorite. Is that some of the mango in the rosette?

Steve

No, that is koa, bordered with radial zebra wood. It originally was destined for Paul's mahog guitar, but that plan got diverted.

Back and sides are done for the Braz/adi 000. As you can see the lining is laminated. That is becoming my favorite method though it is more trouble.

Everything but the back braces is Spanish cedar. To insure stability i made Spanish cedar plywood for both end blocks. This is going to be a simple guitar shading more toward Martins aesthetics and away from the more modern symogiiesque influences

While John is "sorting out" his Photobucket issues, I told him I'd be happy to post some pics for him. So, here is a really cool Brazilian guitar in process

Smile Yay!

The world needs more Kinnaird guitars!!!

Let me chime in on the floating fret board and CF struts. My new BOMB JK has them both and it is the best sounding guitar I have ever heard, let alone played!
Cedar/Mahogany goodness to the max!

My only regret is that I was a bit too early to get the groovy K logo on the back !

Next time... woohoo. And Mike, bless you for helping with the pics of these beauties!

Happy Fourth of July to all!

Cheers

Paul

Default another try

according to those who speak the arcane dialect of English that I find nearly incomprehensible, (tech talk) one of these two addresses should work.

But my good buddy Mike just flew in with the fix and now we are up and running. Woo hooo. Thanks Mike.

Nice guitar John! I know that Braz is gonna rock when it gets some finish. It looks great right now. I bet this guitar will sound like a million bucks.

Default More inards

Im trying to close up A few more boxes before the month is out. Show guitars and a few custom orders that need to be finished first.

Here is a custom order 000 made of honduran rosewood. Lots of bevels on this one. Rib, leg, arm, and what else...chin and elbow bevels as well. Just kidding on those last two.
