Default Equivalent strings to Retro Monels

I've been using Martin Retro Monels lately but they don't sell them locally. I can go online but would like to support the local stores. Anyway, what would be a close equivalent to Monels? I use either 12's or 13's. Thanks!

I use John Pearse Pure Nickel Wound rather than Monels, I prefer the feel and sound. They may not be any easier to find than the Martins, however. The #960L set is gauged 12-54.

I don't know that there is one. Monel is a unique alloy patterned after a naturally occurring alloy from 1 mine in Canada.

Seems like I saw another company offering Monel but they probably won't be any easier to find. Just have your local dealer order them for you.

Yeah, I think I'll have to do that. Just order them from the store. I may try the John Pearse strings though, but even those I'll have to order. Thanks for the insights.
