Default A new How ladder is ready for finish

Here is the latest that I have been working on, just about ready for finish. Curly mahogany and Red Spruce, imagine that. Hopefully soon I will start on my HB guitars.

It's quite attractive right now. I'll be looking forward to seeing the photos when it's been finished, buffed out, and had the tuners and strings attached!

It's got very interesting color contrast for mahogany. If you hadn't told us that's what the back and sides wood is, I might have guessed koa or some other species from the acacia family....

Great looking guitar John. Any chance we could get a closeup of your rosette/purfling? Are you doing any shading on the top?

Mine doesn't have the fancy curl mahogany, torch inlay, veneer on the back of the headstock, or the same purfling, but How number 4006 still looks a lot like this new one.

Nice woods nicely put together.

Best wishes for a great finish !
