Default Headphone amp

I've been amp less for about three years, since I traded it in to buy an acoustic, and I'm looking at a new amp now. I really don't have any pedals but there are a few I want to buy. I'm wanting an amp that can't take pedals, is not very large, and I can use headphones with. Im just looking for something decent. This will not be used out at all, as I don't expect to gig with electric, just to use for myself and maybe record some electric stuff over my acoustic at times. I would probably go Line 6, but I don't need all the effects and such that come with the amps. I'm probably going to buy a delay pedal and an overdrive pedal and leave it at that. Thanks for any help!

The Korg Pandora has always been nice. I have a Pandora III from when I was in college and needed it as a headphone amp/tuner/metronome. I still have it somewhere.

Why not just buy a modeling pedal that can be played straight into a P.A., or a set of headphones?

You can plug any amp into a reactive load to get a good quality line level signal (it has to be a reactive load or you'll lose most of the touch-sensitive dynamics).

I suggest the Artcessories, RTcessories 4 input headphone amp. It adds 15 db of gain to the signal, which I really like, I find most headphone signals are weak. Its about 70 bucks. Delivers a strong signal, you cannot turn it all the way up.

The other 4 channels of stereo out for phones have a myriad of functions. Plug in your tape, your DAW connection, a set of monitors...

Bugera V5. I could go on and on about how much I love mine but just research it. You will see everyone loves it. Best part is it is $200 brand new.

Thank y'all for your help! 44Runner, that sounds like it may be best. I just need something that I can play in an apartment while not worrying about my neighbors. I've been wanting to get back to my electrics lately and figure instead of playing my electric songs on my acoustic I might as well play it on a real electric. That way I won't need to find a new acoustic with a cutaway and can broaden my search. Thank y'all so much!

Yep. The V5 would be perfect for that. Not only can you plug in head phones but it has a built in power attenuator so you can run 5, 1 or .1 watts.
