Electric Guitar/Bass Siblings?
I got to thinking that I'm not the only guitar and bass player around here and that I'm probably not the only one who has a guitar and the "matching" bass.
Who else has done this? Picture of my Gibson ES-335 Bass and my ES-359 subursts: Picture of my Gibson Les Paul Double Cut Bass and Les Paul Studio in Manhattan Midnight Blue: Well? Anybody else got guitar/bass siblings like this? I know I'm not the only one. Post 'em if ya got 'em. |

Got a '64 Gretsch 6117 Double Annie and a Gretsch 5223B bass, more like fraternal twins (guitar is tobacco burst/bass 6120 orange); looking to score a Gibson SGJ to match my '07 Faded bass before they discontinue them - can't seem to find quite the right shade of cherry, though...

My band's bassist has a J Bass and a Strat in his collection, both 3 color sunburst.

Growler, cool sibling pics! I have a bass but it isn't a sibling to any of my electrics.

Thanks Dru. Hopefully, we'll see some more. Those Danelectros were great!
