Thanks Steve. Yes I did. I thinned it to about .060" and still had a difficult time. Because I build double sides, that thickness is not an issue in terms of strength. You do need to be careful when sanding.

Outstanding job.
Hi Steve,
I think Vic will be very happy with that guitar. To bad it's going to the other side of the world. What a good looking job you did. Did you put in a pickup? Jeff

Maybe you could help Vic decide. I like the DTAR Wavelrngth, K&K Mine and the LR Baggs Anthem. It is not an easy choice. It is not so bad that he is in Australia, I get to play it for a while longer.

Thank you Matt. It is a bit of a pain to make, so hearing that people that I respect like it keeps me making it.

Vic picked up his guitar Saturday with Jeff. It is now in New Zealand. He came and picked it up and played it for a while and I adjusted the action for him. It was a good time. Here is a Youtube of him playing it.

I keep seeing such beautiful customs on this site, but that is definitely the most "me" looking beauty yet! WOOOOOOW!

Steve - that is the most exquisite looking guitar I've seen in my 52+ years of playing... an amazing accomplishment!
Thanks for posting the gorgeous pics, and to Vic for playing a bit for us... John Seth Sherman

Nice looking baritone guitar, Steve. What tuning does the owner have it in?

So did Vic. I think you can see 6 black pins in the video.
