810ce on ebay - a killer deal !... or is it ?
Seller indicates it's an '07 810ce, and asks for emails prior to bidding... an incredible, extremely low "buy it now" price, but no buy it now option...
Is the economy this bad, folks are giving away their beautiful Taylors ? http://cgi.ebay.com/Taylor-810ce-810...1%7C240%3A1318 I find this ad a bit perplexing... anyone else ?

Thats a fraud. stay away from those auctions they just use other peoples pictures and post guitars they don't really have on accounts that don't belong to them. They will ask you to deal on the side not through ebay if you contact them. Ebay is cracking down on that stuff.

Scam. No buy it now button but a buy it now statement, too good to be true.

yep... happened to me once with a synthesizer, Yamaha Motif 6, $1,200 sent to the UK... I was young, naive, and stupid.
Same email chain was sent to me when I emailed a guy about a 614ce he said he would let go for $1,300 free shipping... This is what they will say: 1) They will reply with probably grammar errors explaining how they will "secure the transaction through ebay". 2) Sometimes they send you a link click on it and look at your address bar and it will be "ebay2.com/..." some character will be off 3) THey will ask you to send a money order 4) They will never reply back to your emails. It disgusts me that these people exist. They even do it with CARS on autotrader.com and I bet other high dollar items elsewhere. Be careful and remember if it sounds too go to be true, it probably is. Don't try to get a killer deal on guitars, you will appreciate your guitar more if you pay what it's worth too.

Yes, scam for sure. Did the same thing last week for a D-28. I reported him to eBay and they took off the auction.
People like this make me sick. They take something that is really great in so many ways- eBay- and mess it up. I better stop my rant now before I say something in bad taste...
