Default

The 0-18 sounded slightly brighter, the 00-18 slightly fuller. I liked the 0-18 a bit more even though I don't care for really bright guitars, but because it would be a nice complement to a D or 000/OM.

Thanks SS. Good point. I'll bet lots of players looking to compliment a Dread can find good reason to add an 0 to their stable.

I guess I prefer the opposite. To my ears the OM-21 has better projection and a bit more "presence" to it.

I agree with the first part. But I prefer the 00-18, as it's a bit more balanced and the 0-18's bass is a little lacking (duh!)

BTW, I appreciate the way Maury does guitar comparisons. Instead of fancy and complex songs, he keeps it simple, which to me is actually better for comparing different models.

Thanks! I appreciate your sharing your opinion & your kind words.

We believe that the demos should show of the guitar in a neutral way. Keeping with the same chords & same mic (and placement) you can always open another browser to compare a different guitar.. and within reason, you'll remove inconsistencies from the comparison.
