Excellent, Dale... very well done. That's one of my favorite tunes to play. Doug Smith taught that in a Swannanoa class years ago and did a wonderful job. He taught what I believe was Mark Hanson's arrangement.

Great song... the 3-over-2 part (with A7 shape up a fret) is so much fun. According to Doug, it's the toughest part of the song, but one that sounds so sweet played well.

Very nice!

Great tutorial Dale.

I'm just curious though. You post a lot of tutorials (which are always spot on) and I have watched and listened to Youtube videos of the Lexington Lab band. (Great stuff also). How do you go about learning all these songs in to a tee? Do you follow sheet music, tab or by ear or a combination of all etc? What's your method?
Thanks

With capo on 6, I believe you don’t have to play barre chords as in the LB version at capo 4. I’ve played along to the original using the capo 6 arrangement and it seems to be spot on.

SprintBob - sincerely appreciate you checking this out!

Wooly - thanks so much for the kind post and being willing to check out the vids! I do the vast majority of the LLB stuff, or things i'm personally working on by ear. One reason is because i'm OLD and that's all i had growing up learning to play for the most part. I also learn a lot through my eyes. I'm a visual learning and YT is such a huge help. Watching the artist play the piece themselves reveals so much information that cuts the learning process time way down in a lot of cases. Sincere thanks for the interest.

rockabilly69 - completely agree - i'm a capo 6 guy.
