I heard him in concert must have 71 or 72, in SLC he was a great entertainer as well as an outstanding songwriter.
I also happened to have walked right by him on the tram deck at SnowBird Ski Resort and was a bit surprised at how short he was up close in real life as he seemed much bigger on stage (or perhaps it was just his giant talent skewing the perspective )

You are welcome, I regret I even had to post it to begin with. It also is the only thread I have ever posted here where most people don't argue and disagree with me. I am surprised some here don't tell me he is still alive and performing duets with Elvis.

Hmmm, perhaps not posting the last two sentences would be a start towards getting friendlier responses???

No, not quite. Responses don't necessarily have to be friendly, they just have to be honest. Rejecting facts and logic runs rampant around here. Alternate Facts I guess is what some people believe in.

OK, I'll be honest, I think if you expect everyone to agree with your "facts and logic" and get mad when they don't, perhaps an internet forum is not the best place for you to spend you time. That is my honest opinion.

If you don't know, never mind. I think I will be quiet now and let my moderator duties take over for a while before I say anything I regret. Have a nice evening!

Long time fan here - I think Back Home Again was the first one I bought when it came out, but had really enjoyed everything to that point.

I stumbled across this cool pic of him a while back with his Somogyi.....going to turn it black and white, enlarge it on canvas and put it on my studio wall with Doc, Harry, and Jim Croce.

Sorry for the size - not on my main computer with photo software on it!
