Default Leach Cremona

I'm been very bad about showing recording of some of the Great guitars my time on AGF has lead me to. So this is my Leach Cremona, Adirondack Top with figured mahogany and a Dragon Inlay is the acoustic I used in this new original song called "By The Riverside". I love the sound out of the guitar, it's wedge and arm bevel make it nice to play in the studio.

The song is called, By The Riverside, Simple, guitar, bass and pedal steel. Rough vocal track. Thinking of it being a duet. Thoughts.

Love it, sounds great. I would bring up the voice and acoustic a touch in the mix and the pedal steel down slightly (only because I really liked the voice and acoustic, although the pedal steel was really nice too) but you have a great voice and sitting here listening to that on a Sunday morning was enjoyable, thanks for sharing.

Great job! The guitar sounds great as well... I'd like the guitar a bit louder too but I always think that

Default Hey Jay

Poking thru AGF and ran across this. Very nice. My 1-1/2 cents: the electric base line isn't "organic" enough for the general mood and other instruments in the song. Perhaps replace it with a somewhat mournful cello?

I'll tell Santana's bass player he is being replaced. I like what Myron Dove did. I have cello on a couple of tracks I'll post soon.

I think the mix will fix, thanks VT! I'll be in VT next week.

Love the tone of the guitar here -- as well as the tone of your voice. Awesome pedal steel (?) fills in the background.

Another beautiful song!

Bring warm clothes as they say! As for the rest, I did preface my comments with full disclosure and admission that my opinions aren't worth the customary two cents...

I look forward to hearing it all mixed and balanced
