+1 to the Bourgeois Piccolo parlor. These are modeled after the guitars made by CF Martin for the Oliver Ditson music emporium of Chicago

Yes....several GREAT parlor-style guitars out there....I would say +2 for the Bourgeois Piccolo!!....There was a numbered 15 set series made that is beautifully built, includes fine woods and workmanship and each one sounds fantastic..Dana had a 20K prototype in a wooden case built initially and people loved that but wanted a less expensive, non-ivory built model and he put out this special offering.....For the money, these are amazing little guitars.

Bruce Petros's Parlor is a huge sounding little guitar and Bruce and Matt are great guys. Also, Ed Claxton makes a great fan fret hybrid Parlor guitar........You can't go wrong with any of these....

Yeah we do. It's our P1 model. Parlors definitely get smaller than ours, but this one is still fun to play.

Ah, my mistake. Don't know how I missed it on your website, but, there it is.

Default Luthier Recommendation

I encourage you to add Kent Chasson to your list of builders to explore. http://www.chassonguitars.com

While I haven't played one of his parlor sized guitars, I have played his other sizes -- classic (small body), concert (OM), Grand Auditorium and Dreadnaught.

I have two guitars from Kent, and couldn't be more pleased. Plus he was great to work with on a commission.

Best of good fortune in your search.

Well, if your main goal is a "unique travel guitar", and you can get one that both sounds a plays great, there is always Laurent Brondel's D5:

Now this is a unique travel guitar.

Default Sexauer Parlor Guitars

http://mojoluthier.com/FT-0-C-2008.html

The link above shows my "Mystery Wood" long scale (25.4") Martinesque "0" Sexauer guitar, along with a sound clip I recorded several years ago.

Bruce builds parlor sized guitars that can be played and enjoyed in intimate settings as well as at bluegrass jam sessions. His parlors shine in either setting. I kid you not.

Definitely check out FB! If you can go a little bit larger (not sure what type of travelin you are doin) then also look into their P models. Absolutely mammoth sound coming out of those little boxes.
