Default Kurosawa ?

I've been doing some surfing to find something out on this brand. I found a guy selling one, but I don't have a model # yet or pictures.

I believe there was a father, who then went on to build up a large music store chain in Japan and then two sons who also built guitars. I have no idea what range of guitar grades they made or if any of them are worth more than any other.

All I know at this point is it's claimed to be in very very good condition and just needs new strings. I'll let you know if or when I get some pictures.

Anyone know any more about them ? I saw a youtube clip with a guy playing one of the same name that sounded pretty good. I'm not a classical player, but I know what I like the sound of. What are they worth ?

I haven't gotten the pictures in my e-mail yet, but the asking price is 1/10th of that.

I wonder if the builder is the father of Goh, and Kai Kurosawa?

Goh is a Maestro of Jazz-Classical fusion compositions for the nylon string guitar, and a 1st class performer...

Brother Kai, builds, plays, (and may have invented?) the electric 32 string "tap" bass, which are incredible instruments, with a totally unique sound! He is also a major force for the bass ukulele, and an editor on one of the popular bass magazines... He is a musician's musician!

They tour together, and separately, on the West Coast, and both are quite popular in Japan. Both of them are super nice guys too!

I'd like to figure out WHICH of the Kurosawa builders made this one and if there are low end laminated instruments and then the Real McCoy ones that go for big bucks. No pictures yet. Still waiting.
