Default 2013 Taylor 516e Fall Limited (reduced)

2013 Taylor 516e Fall Limited with curly Mahogany back and sides and European Spruce top. Taylor really saves some great wood for the Limited Edition guitars. I bought this guitar in March to play while another guitar I owned was sent in to Taylor for some repairs. I'm tempted to keep it but something has to go. It is in great condition with very minor fret wear. I can't find any scratches or dings on the guitar. This one sounds more like an R Taylor than a Taylor.

516e-FLTD
Taylor’s Grand Symphony body style matches well with the tonewood pairing of beautiful curly mahogany and European spruce, producing a powerful, warm and sophisticated acoustic voice that suggests a refined take on a bluegrass guitar. Premium touches include tone-enhancing Adirondack spruce CV bracing, figured mahogany edge trim on the soundboard, a rosette of figured mahogany and boxwood, a newly designed “Avian” fretboard inlay in boxwood, rosewood binding, a boxwood peghead logo, Gotoh gold tuners and new Taylor Expression SystemŽ acoustic electronics. The model features a 2013 Fall Limited Edition label inside the guitar and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.

Owned one of these and it was without a doubt my favorite Taylor I've owned. Love the all wood appointments, very classy!

What repairs? What constitutes "good" condition (care to elaborate on any dings, marks, scratches, etc)?

This guitar has never had any repairs. I bought this to play while another guitar I owned was sent in for repairs.

I described it as "in great condition with very minor fret wear. I can't find any scratches or dings on the guitar."

I just looked it over again very carefully and the only cosmetic flaw I can find is a small bump on the back of the headstock. What should be a corner is slightly flattened. There is no chip or crack:

Thanks for the clarification, sorry, I must have read your ad too quickly before and appreciate you explaining.

Thumbs down

I also have the same guitar. A friend of mine wants to buy it but is trying to sell a vintage Gibson 335 12 string to raise the money. I'm really on the fence about selling it. It truly is a special guitar. GLWTS!
