Beautiful guitar, Antoine--love the rosette and how you've executed the theme throughout. Thanks for sharing it!

locust
Nice job. How does it sound? Locust is wood in which I have been interested for some years. Not many guitars are made from it.

Nice guitar. Black Locust is a great choice for back and sides. In terms of "tap tone" it is among the most resonant wood I have ever heard...Awesome.

Beautifully done - great choices all around, and you have a great knack for decoration. Where did you get the Locust?

Thank you, she sound really balanced! The high are really cristalline for a nylon guitar! I will post a link of a guitarist who play it soon! |

Thank you! You don’t see locust often on guitar, it’s a shame because it is really a good wood! More balanced than rosewood in my opinion |

Thank you Tony! Yes the tap tone of this wood is amazing! One of my favorite, but it's not easy to sell a guitar that doesn’t have a “traditional” wood on the back and side. And the yellow color is kind of hard to work with! |

Thank a lot Ed! I have bought the wood from bow river on British Columbia, but sadly they don't have any anymore. I am still looking for a place to buy new set! |

I went back to order it, and it was, gone? Glad it made its way into a fine guitar.

Beautiful guitar Antoine. I look forward to hearing it. I agree with Tony Vines, it's a GREAT Tonewood that is underused.
If you have any scraps left, CAREFULLY and SAFELY, wipe some car battery acid on it. You will be amazed at the color change it imparts to Black Locust 😉 |
