Default I'm so glad things beep.....

I leave the refrig door open sometimes by accident. It beeps when the temp starts to drop..... Thankfully.

My remote key for my car isn't to lock it and turn on the alarm, its really so I can find my car in the mall's parking lot.....

Yep. We’ve gotten to where people don’t remember phone numbers, where the car is parked and now - even to close the fridge.

My water filtration system keeps beeping to tell me a year has elapsed and it's supposed to be replacement time for the UV bulb

I just push the button to reset it

Our fridge beeps if you leave the door open, our toaster oven beeps when the toast isn't removed and our coffee maker beeps when I forget to add water and click "brew".

Unfortunately, they are all the EXACT same beep so it's always a scramble to figure out what the heck is beeping in the kitchen?!?

Hospital workers often complain of what's now being called "alarm fatigue". There are so may beeps in so many directions that staff members don't even hear them anymore. Additionally, the walls are often so reflective that you can't tell where a beep is coming from, even if you're in the same room.

Shoot, I hear 'beeps' all the time, even when there's nothing around me actually beeping.

we've got this great little egg steamer gizmo.... cost $10, works like a charm steaming my single soft boiled egg in its shell 3-4 days weekly.

It's about the size of a cantaloupe so it doesn't take up much space and it saves lots of time, electricity, and water.

It doesn't have a timer, you regulate the cooking by the amount of water you put in it and when it goes dry it "beeps".... but really, the beep is HUGE.. a nerve-wracking screeching wail that's way too loud and does not stop till you shut it off.

I call it Eggmageddon
