Thanks! The extra headroom over the the '68 seemed important the more I played. I got lots of suggestions and feedback from folks, including a local amp tech who only had foul language for Fender and Mesa. In the end I took the advice of the guy at Centaur Guitar who told me to just trust my ears. He could have tried to sell me an amp he had instead of talking to me at length about this amp. So he will be getting my business when I get around to stomp boxes - which will likely be next. Cool guy.

Looking forward to plugging in a lot more now!

What kind of pedals? Did you order a kit (BYOC)?

Two complete pedal-boards with 28 pedals, all purchased new, over the last Christmas/New Year holiday period. Time for me to go back into spending hibernation.

2 iStomp boxes. Haven't even attempted to set them up yet, though. Before that, I bought a Blue Driver and a clean boost pedal.

I bought the Musician's Friend deal on the Way Huge Fat Sandwich pedal. Nice classic rock tones. I like it.

An AER Compact 60/2... got it slightly used from an acquaintance here in Corvallis for $600 with the case/bag...

So far, I am KNOCKED OUT by this little bugger! Going to try it tonight with my Gibson ES175 for the first time... I've heard folks talk about using the Compact with an archtop for more jazz-type tones... we shall see!

I purchased a Princeton 65 Reverb last summer; one of the special runs. Love the sweet sound of it too.

I wish I knew you were looking at one. I have a practically brand new one for sale. I still have all the papers. They are up over a Grand now.

I really liked mine when I first got it. But it now sits unused because I can't get anything but loud clean sounds from it. I would trade it for a thirty Watt decent tube amp.

Default Two new acquistions

I just bought a PRS CU 24 10 Top and a Godin Icon 2 Convertible, with P-Rails.

I can't put the Icon down!! I wish I knew about P-Rails before I bought the PRS.

They have tons more sustain then the 58/09's. My next purchase when I save enough pennies, will be a loaded Duncan Pickgaurd with P-Rail/S/P-rail, for my Strat.

I picked up a JamMan Express XT after tire kicking simple loopers.

This is not as cute as a Ditto but the extra features and differences move it to top of its class. I have a many button, multi-I/O, memory slot looper but wanted this for the battery power feature and practicing outside of my office (studio???) where most gear is.

It, my 68 Thin Skin AVRI, and the THR with v 2 software are late night practice heaven.

I've tried it against my original JamMan, with different amps, and different guitars. The sound quality is excellent. The knob is toe friendly compared to some pedals. The 3 LEDs are a nice feature when you're concentrating on playing.

Just go buy one! It wasn't $100 with my Full Compass business account, and Already had way more pleasure than spending we had spending the same at a popular dining spot last week.

Poor white balance in the photo but everything else is perfect balance - the light guitar, light amp, and no wall warts for any of it.
