I'd love to go some day. I'd probably need to pick up extra shifts well in advance. I'm very weak when it comes to nice guitars.

Beautiful new additions to your arsenal, Tom!! Great photos too, I wish I could've made it there this year - next year for sure!!
And what you said about liking the people you buy your guitars from, I think there is a lot to be said for that. When you buy a handmade guitar there is a relationship made between you and the maker. I know as a maker some of my greatest friends are musicians who have bought guitars from me or who I have worked months together with building their custom, dream guitar. It's one of the fantastic things about being a guitar maker I think.
Congrats again, Tom, and thanks for sharing!

Tom, crafty fellow that he is, pulled ahead by getting the 00. Are you going to take that sitting down?!

Come to East Texas for another visit, and after some wood prospecting we can discuss how to catch back up with Tom.

Steve

I think you should come and visit Tom and me and try 'em each..or maybe we do a '00' reunion half way in between? What do you say, Tom..Maui?

Hmmm, like the sound of that, trying to figure out my geography in terms of Maui being a half way point, but yeah perfect, it has to be half way to somewhere right?

Maui, hmmm the first thing that comes to mind is Koa. Maybe a Koa 00? I think a 00 reunion at their birthplace (Steve's shop) might be in order? That way we could all do some wood prospecting I would say Woodstock next year but by then I hope to have one in the works, so I guess I vote for Maui ha!!

Just name the date. It is not [quite] Maui but the folks make up for it. I'm 'in!'

Am I allowed to put in a plug for your sign? My wife says "Wonderful!' Likely a prominent place in our home!

You'd better ask Tom. This IS his thread.
But he is admittedly weak, so....

Folks, I tried to talk this young man into building for me, but the secret is out and I could not talk him into anything for a couple of years!!!! His guitars were fantastic.

So many nice people and Burton is right there with the others that were mentioned. I hope to see you again soon.

Thanks, Tom
I am so thankful for Tim Luranc! His setups are perfect for me!!!

Everyone play the great ones!
