Default MacCubbin

I was the first owner and sold it only because I have way too many and no more room. It was a tough decision, and finally tipped when I realized my new one coming would do everything this did, and you can't sell a custom guitar you haven't even played yet..

It is a really nice guitar, does everything well, good volume, clear without being harsh, plays well... I feel Birdseye is tonally the best of the maples. It made me very happy for many years. And the transaction with Bud was absolutely smooth, good guy whom I'd trust.

I'd add that Dave MacCubbin is a very under-rated builder. I have played a fair number of his. They all had flawless fit and finish, great playability, and were tonally superb - and you won't meet a nicer guy. And he doesn't farm out any of the building.

Default stealing

He's right; it's a steal.

And you'll never see another like this one, with the Bloodwood fingerboard, bridge and tuner knobs. That dark red really sets it off.

Congratulations Bob Garfield. You got a really good guitar as a bargain price. Let me know how you like it after you have played it some.
