Default Light Strings on a Cargo?

Has anyone tried lights on a Cargo, or do you need mediums to get a decent sound out of the instrument? I'm assuming that the original strings it comes with are mediums. Any specific recommendations for string brand or types.

The Cargo ships with Elixir PB lights. I've tried mediums on mine, some prefer them, I don't. I like Elixir PB lights and I find they sound and feel good for my taste on all my guitars. If you try mediums on the Cargo, no saddle or nut slot adjustments should be necessary. Cargo owners have reported trying various brands and gauges with mixed reviews. Strings are a personal choice.
