I'm not sure if that's humor or a serious question, if the latter, the answer is 'no.' Pop screens are to tame the plosives that sometimes occur when a singer makes t, k, p, d, g, & b sounds.

The first production model was originally named "the popper stopper" because that is exactly what they were designed to do. Shure came along later and bought the brand.

Isn't that the thing you use to keep simmering spaghetti sauce from winding up everywhere?

Monoprice has them for $7.99. I have one and it seems pretty darn sturdy. FWIW, I've had a lot of luck shopping cables, etc. from Monoprice. Rick

I went through a few pop stoppers until I found these...
https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...SABEgJGifD_BwE https://intshop.jzmic.com/products/pop-filter Both of them stay where they're put, don't affect the sound negatively, and are easy to clean. I see the BLUE on sale all the time. Although a bit more expensive I prefer the JZ model. |

Popper Blocker
If you have a ball type mic you might consider this :
My TC Helicon ( made by Sennheiser ) MP-76 has something exactly like this insert built into it . It's removable - yes you can clean it . EZ : HR

I meant to ask you yesterday whether those JZ filters are holding up. I thought they were super-neat when you used them tracking us.
