Have you ever played at the Cedar House restaurant in Golden, B.C.? Looks like they have you up as one of their favorite artists.

Nah, I've never been there or even heard of it. I guess that's a compliment? But it seems fishy to me...

Seems to be the site of a trade group (or aficionados) of building cedar homes in western Canada. Wonder how they found out about you?

That is a fishy site. A whois lookup doesn't reveal anything about the domain. They deliberately wish to remain incognito...

Looks like they link to videos that have the word "cedar" in them? Strange indeed.

A bunch of my YT videos end up on sites similar to this. Usually, it seems, they just post videos with a common keyword. I haven't found anything about the phenomenon to worry about, yet.

Yup, me too. My hammered dulcimer videos have ended up on some other websites, which is fine with me! I have captions that have links to buy my CDs, so heck, I don't care.

Ehhh, I'll believe you guys but it just seems weird to me. I guess at least they're not taking credit for it?

Hey, I just went to your YOUTUBE channel. I bet they just liked what you had to offer on a guitar.

Nice stuff.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate that. I guess it just felt uncomfortable having my stuff posted about the internet without me being aware of it.

I can understand that, Zach. Permission isn't too hard to ask. Different cultures view manners differently. I suppose we can imagine they considered it a great compliment.
