"Battlecruiser" could get out of hand. Then I'd have to name my Jumbo "Nimitz" and my upcoming Parlor would have to be "Dinghy".

I'm leaning toward Signature so far but I'm in no big hurry.

Thanks again for all the ideas. This is great and I'm glad I asked.

Or you could just name it after your wife or something, sort of like what Lance McCollum did with his Meghann model (I think that was his daughter actually).

Just a thought...
My wife already tries to claim the "C" in the headstock is for Carolyn!

You could keep it simple by calling it the CD a.k.a. - Chasson Dread....

Beautiful, Kent! Alas I'm no help on the dread rename, but "signature" does it for me as well.

The side by side really brings out the differences - makes the traditional dread look clunky and angular. Very nice modification you've come up with!

Congratulations! I think yours looks more feminine/ beautiful / stylish. Makes the trad look square and utilitarian in comparison.

I agree with the other comments on the stunning abalone rosette - very pretty guitar.

Call it whatever you want, but it is a great shape no matter the name. Good job.

Thanks again, everyone.

Tapguru, that was a very unusual piece of Brazilian beam wood. Never seen anything quite like it.
