Eric Skye Trio - A Ten Bar Blues
Very nice Eric. Only suggestion would be to reduce the drums in the mix. Too heavy IMO. Keep jazz in' it up! BTW can I have your guitar?

I have two albums in the can. I am in the mixing stage right now. I'd love to release both at the same time, but we'll see. The first is a collection of traditional fiddle tunes played on flatpicked guitar, with mandolin, via my good friend Tim Connell. We recorded with wonderful vintage microphones onto two inch tape, in this amazing old barn turned into a studio. Super stoked about the tone on this one. The second album I recorded recently was with guitarist Mark Goldenberg. Mark is a in Los Angeles based session ace and sidemen two stars like Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, the list goes on and on. He was also one of Ted Greene's personal students for many years. This is a very intimate acoustic guitar album. We recorded the whole thing in about three hours in Hollywood. It's all single takes. We each wrote four tunes. Lots of slow tempos and weird chords. I'm sure we’ll sell least a dozen of these records. |
