Martin with wide saddle string spacing options
I found that the SWOMGT has 2 1/4 string spacing at the saddle. Are there any 14 fret 00, 000 or OM spruce / hog or spruce / eir standard production Martins with 2 1/4 or greater spacing other than the CEO7?
Unfortunately, 2 3/16 just doesn't work for me. Last edited by Cle-Tex; 01-09-2017 at 09:49 PM. |

Would you consider a used Hog OM with a string spacing of 2 3/8"? If so, how about the OM-18V? Something to think about.

Look at used OM-28V. 2 5/16 string spacing and 1 3/4" nut. Wonderful guitar.

Thanks for the "V" suggestion. There don't seem to be many around. Anyone know of any current production models?

Doesn't look like any other production models do, but Ted at LA Guitar Sales typically orders Martin customs with true 2 and 1/4 saddle spacing and the wider fingerboard to match.

Ones I can think of that are current production ..
00-28VS 000-28VS 000-42 OM-42 000-28EC 00DB Jeff Tweedy And LAGS seems to order allot their Martin customs with 2.25 spacing. I got a 0-15S from them that has that spacing. Dave Last edited by hockeydave; 01-11-2017 at 10:07 PM. |

You are in good company. All US Clapton models are 1 3/4" x 2 1/4".
