I realize I'm in the sweet spot for some fine used instruments and I have been searching the classifieds for several months now. I just can't quite seem to find exactly what I want so investigating something newly built. I will keep searching until I decide which way to go.

Trevor Kronbauer's SMB is OO-ish, and his SBX is OM-ish. He's in your price range (maybe even a little lower). He's making me an SBX right now.
