Default Best product to spray?

Just hoping to get a few opinions on clear-coat products. Is a high gloss pre-catalyzed lacquer an acceptable product for on a quality guitar. If not, what is the best product that can be sprayed and polished on a guitar. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks, Craig

A pre-cat lacquer will work fine on a guitar.

There is no "best" finish, only compromises in one form or another. I'd suggest getting Robbie O'Brien's finishing DVD from LMI this will give you so many good options as well as how to do it and what you can expect from each as far as the differences go.

Stew Mac sells a Arosol Kit, don't forget French Polish works quite well. Siple but labor intensive
