An attachment on the back of the guitar to spin it like in a ZZ Top video?

It's got the standard LR Baggs Element Active pick up fitted.
Emerald were kind enough to address one of my pet peeves at no extra charge. I hate those combined jack and strap end pins, putting a separate socket nearer to the "Telecaster position" just seems like a no-brainer to me. (I should know, I've got no brains). Aha - selective cropping on the earlier photos to not show the side of the lower bout. Nice that Emerald was amenable to making that change for you.
I have a Taylor T5 that has that same arrangement; works fine, although after using my acoustics, I do find I try to plug the cord into the strap pin. I use a V-cable (has an on/off/volume control at the end of the cable) that is a right angle at the guitar end that works great for the combination strap pin/jack. Did I mention: nice guitar! |

Well, I was partially correct. Cool mod, Jon.

Haha ! I had to go back and edit out those Flickr links on my earlier pics,
as a click on them leads to my (public) Flickr collection, which has a few more tell tale shots. I posted a separate NGD over on the general page, with a link to here included. Might be a first visit for some. Always hoping to interest a few more conservative guitar players in alternative technologies . |

Simply leave the jack where it would normally be, (where my strap button is) and fit a strap button just above it. Viola ! |

Fitting a strap button turns a guitar into a Viola? - That's fantastic!
