Hi Moga. Did it hiss before changing the batteries? I'd try another battery swap just to confirm that's not it.

I sent the unit to DTAR or Seymour Duncan

This is what they say.

"Hi Tony,

It sounds like perhaps the pickup is draining batteries even when it is not plugged in. If this is the case then it is most likely an issue with the output jack. "

I will update the result~.

An output jack causing it to be 'always on' won't kill a battery in two hours. Double check that you're not using a dodgy eBay/Amazon battery. I've had this happen in the past with effects pedals and bulk battery purchases. The problems went away when I bought some Energizers from the local supermarket that had a high enough turnover not to sell product that had been sitting on the shelf for 5 years.

It sounds like there may be a short somewhere. You may be able to find it yourself by systematically checking components, but I'd take it to a pro to get it sorted. This exact same thing happened to a friend of mine last summer. He thought it was his powered speaker, back patch cable, etc. It ended up being the preamp just had a short on the circuit board that couldn't be fixed.

Rule out the obvious if you haven't already. Make sure all connections are tight, all wires are tidy inside, etc. Even try a different unbalanced cable for the heck of it.

Does it hiss when you plug into any other interface? Does it get quiet or change when you touch any part of the pickup system or move wires around?

Good luck.
