For the price of a Bigsby and the price and time of installing you could buy a used guitar with a trem already installed, which is what I'd do.
Stagg used to do a Bigsby style Tele quite cheap, and some of the Aria pro 2's are as good as any Fender out there for the money in my opinion. |

Really...for the price of a tremolo system, plus labor and time...maybe you would be better off with another guitar with tremolo.

I've been a tremolo addict since 1964 and have tried many.
I happen to be a fan of the basic Bigsby on ANY guitar. But if you want the trem that is absolutely THE BEST, you'll be wanting a STETSBAR. One neat thing about the STETSBAR is that no new holes have to be drilled! It's like going out to drive an 18 wheeler w/Power Steering vs one without. Incredibly well-engineered. Here's a pic of the STETSBAR on my Gibson ES-335: I had one on my Fender Custom Shop NoCaster Relic too. They are incredible! |

Going for a used second electric gents. Thanks. I don't want to mess with my tele. I got it finally right where I like it.
