Kevin, that Black Limba looks amazing!!! What kind of tone does it give in the electric? Is it comparable to mahogany / alder / ash / etc (something I'm familiar with).

Hey Dru - it is amazing. It can be difficult to get, at least the last time I bought some. Its similar in workability to mahogany. Mahogany is a little bit denser, I feel. So its tone will be in that tonal vicinity - bottom line is it works great for solid body tone wood and looks great to boot.

Thanks Random1643 - I'm working on some demo videos. Still, there will be nothing like actually sitting down and playing it yourself.

Thanks.

Here are those knobs up close. Kind of cool. Finishing touches on a sweet guitar/concept.

Default Very nice...

I usually just lurk about on here, but I had to come out of the shadows to say that guitar is a work of art. Gorgeous!

Kevin, the pricing page on your site doesn't seem to be available yet. May I ask what the ballpark pricing is? These are beautiful!

Thanks!

mikealpine - we are working on my site right now and i'm hoping to get it finished in the next week or so. But its not totally my delay. I have to work with my web person .

I am going to run a special on my LD22 and my J2 (arch top) right out of the gate on web launch...and an SJ acoustic, that I'm limiting the options to some popular ones, to lower the price for the customer....more of a "player guitar".

See what happens. When I get the site up/finished - I'm going to post her on the forum the link. I hope to get some feedback.

Thanks.

I carve away much of the heel on my LD22 guitars and this really gives access to the upper frets. Here is another look.

I really love the single cut away guitar because there is so much of the neck's heel mortised into the guitar body. This really creates a super sustaining join and the hump that some guitars get is almost eliminated due to this "deep set".

My favorite guitar.
