Gotta add some Shadows. Could a guy named "Hank Marvin" who looks like this be a star today?

Wonderful choice! I may have to go dig up a James Burton clip now to stay in the running. |

Joe can play. So smooth, so flawless, and great tone too.

I read in my Stratocaster Chronicles book that Hank Marvin was the owner of the first Strat to make it to England. He was a guitar hero to some people. You're right - he would look out of place with today's guitarists though.

Wayne Johnson Trio with Jimmy "Flim" Johnson on bass (Flim & The BBs) and Billy Berg on drums, awesome band! We used to go see these guys at the Comeback Inn which wasn't far from where we lived in Mar Vista.

The Great Tribal Tech
We've seen these great guys a couple of times at small clubs in the downtown Cleveland area. Apparently TT spends most of their time in Europe, these days. Last edited by Jeff Scott; 11-23-2014 at 12:38 AM. |
