Smile SOLD '06 Jimmy Edmonds D-28, Adirondack - Madagascar Kingwood - Martin D-28 KILLER!

'06 Jimmy Edmonds D-28, Adirondack top with Madagascar Kingwood. This is an amazing vintage-style dread and should more than rival any Martin D-28, Collings D2HA or anything else similar!

Nut 1 3/4", scale 25.5", spacing, 2.25", LB 15.6", depth 4.9". This one does have a few light scuff marks on the top and one ding (see pics in Keith's link) It is still in excellent condition with minimal fret wear and recent setup. Included is a Trance Audio pickup with dial under the sound hole.

You're seeing of few of my classifieds this week, because we are moving. Leaving Sunny Florida to head back to even sunnier Prescott AZ. It is soooo dry when you're 5400 ft high in the desert, that I need to get down to 3-4 guitars. I cannot see worrying every week about filling a sponge or whatever to keep too many guitars at proper relative humidity!

So what we have here is a WONDERFUL dread, a Jimmy Edmonds build. Look him up on YouTube is he is new to you. He is an amazing accomplished musician and builder.

I got this in trade Oct 2016 and have enjoyed it since. I'm posting 3 pics here and Keith has many outstanding pics in the following link. Keith shows a picture of the only actual ding on the guitar. There are also some light impressions here and there and a couple of pick marks above the pick guard.
http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=444676

Trade value was $**** when I got it.
Asking $**** plus shipping net. Priced to sell, I hope!
Please PM or email with questions. Thanks, Johnny

Smile Sweet

There have been a few Edmonds up FS here in the last few months. This builder has a great reputation and it is well deserved!

Braz Kingwood is super stuff. I just read up on it! And this axe is a beauty.

Also, if you have not dealt with JD I can assure you his is a stand up guy and a guitar aficionado of the highest order! You can buy with no worries at all…

I have now bought, sold and traded with JD! Always with happy results and instruments as described!!!

Best on this, and your upcoming move as well!

Cheers

Paul

I commissioned Jimmy to build this guitar and I provided the Kingwood. It does have some of the prettiest quarter sawn wood you'll ever find. Highly recommend this.

All credit goes to Jimmy Edmonds. One of the great newer builders out there (with close to twenty years experience by now).

I owned this guitar a while back. This is a give-away price for a guitar with these wood built by Jimmy Edmonds.

I have owned, and still own, a number of Edmonds guitars. They are all great.

JD is awesome to deal with as well.

Edmonds owner here. Have tried to sell mine (changing to smaller bodied acoustics). If this dread is anything like my 12 fretter, then this is such a bargain. Don't give it away!GLWS

JohnnyD123, I live in Prescott. Hope to cross paths with you sometime. Safe travels to you. It's snowing here tonight.

I have an Edmonds Braz/Adi OM. It's a fine guitar; plays and sounds great. You price on the D makes it a steal. Hope someone jumps on this.

Wink Just put a new set of EXP12 Mediums on last night

Man, this guitar is great. I must have played it 2 hours last night and later my son Adam played it too. Check out this picture! The frets are thick, clean and tall, with virtually NO fret wear - very nice!

Default Can't believe this one is still up for sale.....

This has got to be the best dreads on the forum right now at a bargain price. I've long admired Jimmy Edmonds' guitars & I'd be all over this if my GAS days weren't virtually done. Top seller too & you can't go wrong with JD's stellar reputation. This one must sing.......

Wink Bump

Today only! This may be gone in trade later today or tomorrow. Sure, I’d prefer to sell this beauty outright, so let me know something today. This has been here long enough. Thx, JD
