I used one for quite a while, when I used a magnetic pickup. I took the cheap tube out of it, and put in a better one. Worked great. I think I still have that thing buried in a box of gear from years past.

I got mine a few years back when I started playing out again. Sounds fine with piezo pu's going into a PA. I didn't like having to plug in a wall wart, and its a little bulky. So I moved on to other preamps. But I still have my ART Tube as a backup. Hard to beat the price.

I used it for a while. Zero complaints. It feels well made, solid, no plastic. I certainly liked the price. Another piece of gear I bought (for other features) also did the same thing as well, so I ended up selling it.
