Woohoo, nice work Sacha!
I like your rosewood telecaster, and the CNC plate is great too!
Your apprentice seems to be gifted, that's a nice thing!

Nice! You tell me that I build fast, but that's because I build one at a time !
You build so many different guitars!

Hi,

I haven't been there for a while...
Some guitars came through my shop, had to work on them and some of my builds just got closer to an end... In fact, the nitro's been curing for three weeks now.
I'll start wet sanding soon so, I'll be able to send some pics of the finished guitars then.

I also recorded with two friends of mine, Fab on sound & vids and Eric playing, two videos so as people can hear how the guitars sound "clean" (didn't record crunchy electric guitar yet...).

So, More to come in a month, when the guys come back from their holidays

I hope you enjoy the vids and sound... And don't hesitate to comment

PS My website is in french, but the vids have some words in english...

Bye!

I frankly hate this place. Everytime when I think I got over my time consuming guitar building dreams and am close to sell all my tools and wood, I find a thread like this that makes me want so bad to continue building guitars. This forum is worse than a whiskey store for alcoholics.

Nice work and welcome to the forum, btw .

Another Herve and another guitar: mahogany core and neck, flame maple top and back and sides, Yves Bourvon "handmade" pickups...

Love the mada rosewood fingerboard...

Sorry for the poor quality pics. Hope I'm better in lutherie than in takin' pictures.
Pretty soon you'll be able to hear some sound on my website...
All the best!

Hi,

Here's the OM my student Richard made... Austrian moonspruce top, indian rosewood, ebony fingerboard...

As a high school teacher, he would always sign his students' work with a bike. So he also signed his guitar

Here he is, playing his guitar at home

Last Monday, we recorded these last 4 guitars. Some sounds soon...

Thanks Brucebubs and Quentin!

So, the advanced jumbo is finally finished, youpi!!!!

I had this Stew tortoloid pickguard material

But I cut that tortoise guard

And also cut a bubinga one, the same wood from which I made my pickguard for the J200 that'll be finished soon, and that I find nice looking on the sunburst once varnished

But finally...

I went with the tortoloid one. As I already wrote: Moonspruce alpine top

Cocobolo back and sides with tasmanian figured blackwood bindings

Working on the J200 and the OM now...
