If you want to see a lot of pictures of guitars going to Memphis, go to https://www.facebook.com/memphisguitarfestival. It is updated weekly, sometimes 2-3 times per week.

Just a note to let everyone know that the Graceland Option is sold out and the Beale Street Option is close behind. If you are planning on going to the festival and haven't bought tickets, as of this date, there is just a little over a month left to buy advance tickets at the greatly reduced prices.

We love all kinds of custom guitars. You are right I have never attended any of the festivals, but have gotten the bug and have started collecting. I am sure anything you folks bring to Memphis will be much appreciated. I am there all 3 days!!

Hey bldrguy, how lucky you are that you live right there in Memphis!
Why, the show is coming to your hometown.
By the way, what part of town is yours? We used to live off White Station.
Will be good to come "home".

Steve

I'll be joining you in Memphis for the guitar festival, as well as for Beale St. and Graceland. It will be my first time visiting Memphis, although I have been in Nashville before.

For those familiar with the luthiers who will be at the show, who are some of the luthiers who build guitars in the Gibson tradition? I was hoping that Kevin Kopp or John Walker would be there but no such luck it seems.

I remain very excited about the show. Great news that Kevin Kopp will be there.
Memphis is waiting excitedly on everyone's arrival.

The Beale Street Option is now sold out...you can still get there by cab and get in free with your Memphis Festival lanyard...but buses are sold out. Sales are going quickly; if there's a workshop you want, now's the time to buy one.

I may have already posted this, so apologies if this is a repeat. I had to fly out a little earlier than anticipated so if anyone wants my ticket to the Macyn Taylor event on Sunday from 1-230pm please PM me.

A sidenote about the Graceland Tour. There has been ongoing discussions for months about the planes (Lisa Marie and Hound Dog II) being moved from Graceland. The owners (of the planes) agreement with Graceland had expired and they could not come to an amicable agreement with Elvis Enterprises, Inc.; so they were to be moved by today. At the last minute, they came to an agreement, so the planes will be there for our dinner Saturday night at the Memphis festival - YEA!

Bob, that's great! I was hoping to see them. Counting down on the days. I'm pre-packing items I thinking I need to take.

... And I am already double thinking if I really need to take so much.

Default Hotel Selling Out!

I just got word from an attendee, that they couldn't make reservations for some nights at the Memphis Guitar Festival as some nights were already sold out. I've taken care of that today. They allowed me to add more rooms (2nd time we've been sold out), but we won't have many rooms left. Go to www.MemphisGuitarFest.com to make reservations (quickly!).
