Tim, guitar looks fantastic!

Harvey, Kevin did the Lion inlay on my Baritone guitar. Yours is beautiful and you did an amazing job!

There's a good Wikipedia entry on Yovel, the year of Jubilee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilee_%28biblical%29

What a wonderful ornament for a guitar. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!"
Interesting -- it's a very striking looking guitar (and lovely work) but I'm curious where the font for the "lamed" comes from -- not a typical one.

I Googled the Hebrew translation for the word "Jubilee" and those are the letters that came up on a few sites. It matched what our customer sent to us too. Not being a Hebrew scholar I copied the letters as best as I could. I hope I did not do any injustice or make any errors in the font? Please feel free to PM me.

Here is a link where you can see and hear this guitar live in a few weeks. Better get your tickets now as they are expecting at least 50,000 in attendance!

OH THIS. I might very well see it as everyone has said, it is a stunning example of artistry and lutherie. Andrew is going to be one happy guy.

Sent you an over-long and complicated PM, but the short version is that it's probably just fine.

Absolutely beautiful guitar. I love the Lion of Judah on the fretboard and the Hebrew cutout on the side. Amazing.

Default Lion of Judah

Beautiful work. Reminds me of the Lion of Judah my old friend Kevin Gallagher did some years ago.
