Default WTT - Guitar Collection - Collings/Allison for Muscle car or 50s V8 Truck

Ok - did not know where to post this one and of course please remove it if it not appropriate.

I have a sizeable collection of Collings Electrics and Allison Acoustics. I am keeping a few special instruments however I will be letting a good few go to enable me to buy either a classic or contemporary muscle car - or 50s V8 Truck.

If you have anything and would like to here what I have please get back to me.
Some one offs and prototypes figure in the guitars being released, along with a fair number of Brazilians.

Once again if this is not the place for it, Firstly I apologise and secondly please send a pm for a more suitable place.

I will post a full list and images/prices once I get the ok re posting on here.

Ok here goes:

From the top:
Collings Guitars
Soco Deluxe Mermaid Blue. Unplayed - as new condition.
I35 LC - P90s - Not many of these around. Mint guitar with no marks etc.
I35 Deluxe - Crimson. A great sounding instrument in perfect condition - no marks etc.
I35 Deluxe - Root beer. Understated but great looking and sounding guitar with a slightly thicker tone than the Crimson.
Black Soco - P90s. Superb top and nice dog hair back and sides. In perfect condition a brilliant powerful guitar.
Gibson R9 1959. I took this in as a trade - a nice gibson. It has a few very small marks that I hope to have sorted to have it looking as new.
Gibson CS ES175. Another trade-in. Perfect condition.
Soco LC. As new completely unmarked.
Standard Soco with Bigsby - Perfect condition - great sounding Soco - tough call on letting this one go.
I35lc. Early number 16 - perfect condition once again.
TV yellow 290 with Bigsby. Great 290, tiny mark on back otherwise perfect.
Tv Yellow 360st - Ash, a cracker in as new condition.
Burst I35 Standard. Completely as brand new.
Crimson i35 Standard. Very nice condition, has been played but is in mint condition with no marks.

The Next three are a case of only if the right ( crazy vehicle) comes along.
Allison D42. Brazilian Rosewood/Adirondack.
Allison OM42. Brazilian/Adirondack.
Allison Parlor 42. Brazlian/Adirondack.
I have provided further information on the other acoustics on earlier listings.
Prs2005 single cut term - case queen - not played at all with hang tags.
Prs2008 single cut term - case queen - not played at all with hang tags.
Rocketfire P Bass's.
The white is swamp ash, the burst has a Madagascar fret board. Both are superb sounding bass's.

Obviously I will provide full specs if someone is interested in any instrument/s.

Very nice photos, should have no trouble selling those. Special shout out for the Allison parlor and rocket fire P Bass, though the electrics are nothing to sneeze at.

John Allison has been building and repairing guitars and other instruments for nearly 30 years. Though a native Texan, John spent a number of years living in Colorado, Minnesota and Chicago, Illinois where he cultivated an interest in, trained for, and began a lifelong career as a luthier. He returned to Texas and he has been living and working in the Austin area since 1991. After an extended tenure with Collings Guitars, he resumed work on his own line of acoustic guitars as well as offering repair services and eventually expanding the product line to include electric guitars, lap and console steel guitars and ukuleles.

Some of the nicest finish work on the Collings guitars - bursts, cowboy stencil etc was John's stuff before he went out on his own.

I had Collings Acoustics and came across his by chance. I had my Burst Om and came across his - very similar specs. Hs guitar blew the Collings Om away.

I like the small shop, great pairing of tone woods. No poly base to his guitars and also the fact that he is there for every part of the build. Nice touches likhe hand shaped bracing etc - just add to what is a killer guitar.

As I have posted, it would need to be something very special to drag the three brazilians from me.
