The Franks OM is coming my way. Todd is awesome to deal with, if you can't work out a fair deal with him, it's your fault. Such a kind person who just loves guitars!

Greven is one of the very best Slope D builders out there.
They sound killer and with that koa binding and rosette- they look stunning as well.

Now I'm not getting into all the discussion over classification of revivals and line changes and master class and all that.
This one is a master class guitar and is labeled accordingly as "Master Class" alongside other guitars labeled revival. So that's someone else's concern as to what their guitar is. My revival OM in the other post makes no apologies for not being master class. just what it is.

secondly, to clarify the new aspect. I have affirmed with Breedlove as a condition of my accepting this guitar as a replacement for my heat damaged original, that it would maintain new w' warranty status until I or anyone I passed it along to would get full life warranty with it. The previous was UPS heat damaged, I got a shamefully indulgent and acquired a few Brazilian OM's while awaiting the replacement. Guitars are what I prefer to other earthly possessions. Now I prefer my kids and moving to Costa Rica and have to reverse the trend.

I've played it a very little bit, kept it in the case and has the plastic on the guard. I couldn't turn down the last master class with the square headstock, so it stayed I'd just gotten pretty married to a couple other guitars as it were.

The tone you imagine when you look at this beauty is probably right on what it is. It's wonderful woody big body sound.
FWIW, I had a friend who came guitar shopping at my house on his church's checkbook for his work guitar. He chose this of 25 or so. Having played some of my brazilian guitars, he took a long shot and asked for budget for a nice brazilian dread. they went for it .... he figured what next life time would someone else buy him a fine brazilian guitar and he switched to that last minute.

The nut is 1 3/4, standard scale, wood is pretty obvious by the photos, waverly's, undisturbed by buttons, pickups or any pristine disrupters.

One of if not the last Martin headstock models made before Martin shot off the blanket lawsuit, claiming copyright on straight lines apparently. Made to master class standards in the custom shop, which essentially translated to built by Jayson Bowerman, whose instruments have repeatedly eclipsed most others I'd had experience with.

sorry about the pics, I was told to use the wrong setting for "let the camera do the thinking" and they turned out like crud.

I'll get a tutorial and retake them with hopefully better focus and results.
$2950 OBO

thanks a lot for looking.

Default Wow...

What an amazing collection of special instruments! If I only had twenty grand to blow...ummmm I mean invest. Ha!

It'd be awesome to just hang out in a great sounding room and play these guitars for an afternoon...

I was doing ok, until I saw that Breedlove koa! Thank goodness I am not located close enough to you that I could test drive that baby--cuz it would be coming home with me--then I would have to MOVE OUT!

Bump for the koa Breedlove. Todd (and his son on backup vocals) was kind enough to send me a recording of it and that thing sounds great. Very balanced, and not in the muted sense where nothing stands out. It's more like everything (bass, mids, treble) stand out equally, if that makes sense.

I have been after this greven for so long but it's always just out of my reach. Hope it went to a good home. Another good deal from a great seller. Back searching for someone else willing to sell their greven.
