Red face All my guitars I could think of...time to move on

(Note, there are pics all through the thread-- not remotely all, but request anything you don't see and I'll get them to you directly or post some here)

I'm just putting up a gang post as life is about to get really busy, complicated and we'll be moving soon one way or another. I don't ever again want my guitars touched by movers. Not even the case. Here they go,

thanks

2004 Lowden O-35 cocobolo/ sitka custom order, very special guitar...glorious........sold

Morgan Koa OM cutaway, a primo OM, very beautiful sounding $2450,
this would be very comparable the one at Artisan used for 4 grand. there is a lower end model, so's not to confuse it. Fantastic sounding OM, just have to say that.

R Taylor Style 1 Sitka and "Red" Indian Rosewood, (stated in the build sheet that way along with 'selected for all red and no brown'"
Looks very much like quartersawn cocobolo, $2750, ebony bindings and rosette.

Taylor Custom 714 Brazilian built for luthier's retirement gift. premium brazilian RW and sitka, bone saddle, custom inlays ...sold

Tacoma 5th Anniv. Ltd Ed. Brazilian, sitka MJ, VARNISH FINISH $2200

Martins

SPD 16 special Edition, spruce mahogany, new old stock, still has the plastic on th pickguard $1395

0000-15M custom, reset neck at new to enhance tone and playability beyond Martin standard set $1175

Taylors

Big Baby, 100% bear claw top, baggs electronics $395

Guild Orpheum 12 fret dread, adi, mh, tonerited, newish condition, 1.8 nut, short scale, $2250

Yairi DY95V 12 fret slot head, Martin D-35S essentially, in new condition ***$1850

Tacoma All Koa MJ EKK19ce $975, silly-stupid good deal for a nice all koa

Breedlove OM/SM sunburst Mahogany, sitka, brand new $575 firm

prices with paypal friends and family, check or cert. funds, plus shipping of choice. Can usually get a very good deal on overnight especially for the higher dollar ones.

thanks for looking

What a collection! It is amazing how much one can save by skipping Starbucks!
Seriously, I am sure the entire AGF is sending good thoughts and intentions for you as you transition!
If I were not overloaded I would be all over a couple of these.
I have enjoyed your posts as they show up. More pretty pictures please...
All the best to you and yours!

thanks a lot, Paul. You've got a wonderful collection there, you're just wise to keep it to what you can play and maintain! You've made great choices there. you may have read I am a coco addict. If you fall in love with something, talk to me about that R Taylor. Coco is a guy's best friend who can't take his brazzies with him.

No, but not for lack of interest, the stars just haven't lined up yet. Definitely a tone signature I subscribe to. Someone did offer one in indian back for almost even with my most expensive brazilian. Unfortunately couldn't afford that kind of barter, there may be another term for that.

Blimey, that's quite the sale... did I miss the 'why'? I get that you're moving but... man oh man, that's some guitars to get rid of.

Friends, I have to say that Todd is a super guy to deal with. He knows guitars, inside & out, and he packs & ships with the best of them. I bought a Flammang RS from Todd and it was impeccable. Like new. Beyond his description. Thanks again, Todd.

All the guitars offered here are amazing, but I have to put in a plug for the Foley Deep OM. I have one and they are "Grails".

BTW, Todd- congrats again on the Twins! I remember your note about them!

best on the sales and the move...

Good luck on the move...

Wow that is an amazing small fortune in instruments, and some beautiful bursts. I don't even one one guitar approaching the $4k mark... I'm in awe.

Wow... beauts.
