Default College Football - Championship Game tonight!

Ohio State vs Oregon in the first NCAA Football Championship Game based on the new 4 team playoff format. I know we've got hardcore fans for both teams. Let's hope that it's a close game until the end.

What are your colors for this game? Go Scarlet and Gray!

...i rarely make predictions but heres what this DUCK fan thinks....i think that Ohio State is a great team but i also think that they're coming into the game having exceeded expectations mightily...3rd string QB!!...are you kidding me???...its unheard of and one of the best sports stories of the year....but it feels to me like a Cinderella story that has a good chance of ending before the prince places the slipper on the foot.....

...OTOH...The DUCKS have overcome their share of injuries but have been playing like a well oiled machine all year....the defense has improved weekly and Marcus Mariota has been on a mission since the first snap...they're just too fast and precise for other teams to deal with right now....i don't think the moment is too big for them as they've been under a microscope all year and still been able to focus on each game....

...i don't know who is gonna win but i'll put my money on ...

I'm pullin' for the team who beat my Noles, plus I like Marcus Mariota...should be fun to watch.

No kidding. If I was a betting man, the Buckeyes would have cost me a LOT of money this year. No matter what happens tonight, I'm still proud of them!

Ducks and it won't be close. This is the classic match up of the old Pack 10 and Big 10 Rose Bowl games. Turning point is when you see Ohio D-ling standing with hands on hips out of breath. Ohio will show more class than FSU and stays on the field to congratulate the Oregon players.

Sportsmanship demonstrated by both teams has been great. West Coast is certainly primed and ready...

That's what Alabama said.............

I think it's a tossup and hopefully a nailbiter. Don't get too cocky, the Buckeye's defense is better than anybody thought, and it's amazing to get this far with a 3rd string quarterback, and he's a beast with an arm, looks more like a linebacker.

Mild edge to Oregon to me, but I doubt a blowout either way, we'll see.......

Some Stats:
  • Oregon was 2nd in the country with points per game (47) and Ohio State was 5th (45).
  • Ohio State was 26th in the country in scoring defense and Oregon was 27th.

Uh not exactly dude, the Noles were asked to leave quickly due to the awards, even ESPN spinmeister; Kirk- Buckeye homer/SEC hater-Herbstreit somewhat acknowledged that and FYI Jimbo, Winston, Greene and some others still came out and congradulated the Ducks...hope the Ducks win it...

I think its going to be a lot closer game than most seem to think. Would not be surprised to see Ohio State win. I haven't really watched a lot of OR, but have seen the last few buckeye games and those guys know how to play really good football.

Hoping for a good game. I'm a Michigan State grad who's pulling for Ohio State....gotta stick with the Big 10.
