Default 1963 Gibson RB-250 - 19 Hole Tone Ring - Very Rare!

1963 Gibson RB-250 banjo - Serial #168484 - Overall good condition....plays and sounds great - Includes hard shell case.

Mahogany resonator - Mahogany neck - Rosewood fingerboard.

This one has one of the famous 19 hole tone rings in it! A VERY much sought after tone ring!

Question: "What are the two extra holes in the headstock?"

Answer: These are for two Cam "D" tuners which is how you de-tuned the banjo for certain tunes before Bill Keith came along with his famous Keith Tuners.

These have been taken off of this banjo but will be included in the sale....they currently rest safely in the case.

If you have any questions please give us a call at (800) 869-5559.

$3595.00 Shipped And PayPal'd.

TRADES ALWAYS CONSIDERED.
