Yamaha Question
Just picked up a Yamaha FG 325 on eBay for next to nothing, and am pleasantly surprised with how it sounds and plays. Very light weight- not overbuilt. Decent tone and much louder than I expected. Action is not great.
I'm assuming it has a laminate top, back, and sides? I'm guessing it is from the 80's, or maybe even the 70's? Any info. anyone can share would be most appreciated!

I have a FG 335II from '81, it has laminated back and sides, wood top. Bought it new, great guitar and durable, mine has been set excellent for me, action is a little low for some. Have nothing bad to say about the guitar, it's got a lot of play wear, few dings, great to play.

The FG-325 is a classic Folk size, made 1977 to 1978, list price was $125 (probably sold for $100), laminated spruce top, laminated agathis back & sides, nato neck, indian rosewood fretboard and bridge.

Think it needs a neck reset? Or will adjusting the saddle, truss and nut suffice?
