"To repeat, the evidence that CO2 is a greenhouse gas depends mainly on physics, not on the correlation with past temperature, which tells us nothing about cause and effect. And while the rises in CO2 a few hundred years after the start of interglacials can only be explained by rising temperatures, the full extent of the temperature increases over the following 4000 years can only be explained by the rise in CO2 levels."

Using your logic , it can just as easily say that there is evidence of a relationship between higher temperatures and low CO2 levels .

You stated that warmer temperatures have occurred on earth before, and no one should worry. I supplied supporting evidence that the earth had experienced warmer temperatures in previous geological epochs.

Anecdotal reasoning based on your personal life experience with warmer and colder weather, may be enough for you to feel entitled to pass judgment. Please stop trying to make this into a bigger issue.

I'm confused. Not sure who is arguing what. At times it seems some are following up with an argument against their first comment.

What I'm worried about is Mars. No one talks about Mars anymore and the fact that it's temperature is also rising. Now that's worrisome to me. What's causing that?
