Default Shake Shack?

They just opened up one in our city. My friend had a burger and said it was really good, though not as good as Elevation Burger or Five Guys. It was too hot for me to eat anything big so I got a hot dog and shake. Used potato bread for the hot dog, pretty good tasting dog as well. And a staff member took our garbage away as well. A good first visit.

The weird thing is, they opened two stores from the Burger Joint, which I think has really good burgers. Hmmm.....

Shake Shack is one of the best, if not the best, burger I've ever had. tried them in new York. Not cheap, but ungodly good.

Five Guys is good. In-N-Out is good. Shake Shack's in a completely different class.

You are aware, aren't you, that eating that stuff will kill you? Wouldn't tofu and bean sprouts be better for you?

Nah...I'm with you. I just wish we had some of the places you mention up here in the wilds of WI. If I'm going to pay for an overpriced burger, I want a good one.

Haven't seen one yet, Louie - where are they located in the NYC metro area...?

Their prices are actually not horrible. Something like $6 for a single and $8 for a double. The shakes were a bit pricey, but that was one of the best shakes I've had... and I used to work for Carvel.

Memories of my wife's and my teenage years - those Carvel shakes are still the gold standard in her book...

Thanks, Louie - now we have to go...
