Default SOLD: AER Compact 60, Acoustic Amp $675

Up for sale is an AER Compact 60 amplifier. I upgraded to the Domino (4 inputs) so this is going unused. It's in fine working condition. This model has 2 inputs, one 1/4" jack and one XLR/1/4" with phantom power for a mic. There is reverb available for both channels.

I use the amp with a mic stand and will include the attachment for the stand. Comes with AER padded cover.

I'm in CT and will ship via UPS. $675 plus $50 shipping in the CONUS. More pics available. Thanks for looking.

SOLD

Is there anything broken or that has been repaired. How old do you think this amp is. Have you cranked it up to see if the speaker is in good shape or has a small tear. Just wondering. Thanks

What incarnation of this amp is this. Is it the 60 or the 60/2 or the 60/3. Thanks

I recently bought one used here on the forum just to try it out and then sell it later. I had many interested parties lined up to purchase it after my trial period. Unfortunately for them, I am liking it so much that it may be with me for awhile. It is a great little lightweight amp that sounds stellar too.

Hi,
I use it all the time - it's perfect. I bought it new, about 10 years ago. I never had an issue with this AER - no repairs, no problems. I will be happy to give the buyer 48-hour approval.

I still shake my head and marvel at the sound that my Compact 60/2 produces... these are terrific little amplifiers; they reproduce the sound of whatever you feed 'em! AND, they get far louder than a solid-state 60 watt unit should...

I use mine for both vocal and guitar, and it will "cut it" in some pretty big rooms...

Great price for a great amp!

Is this louder than most 60 watt amps. Tried the Boss Acoustic Singer today and it is not loud enough for using as my monitor facing back at me. I would use the Compac that way too.
Will I regret not getting the Compac 60/3. I am not sure what changes were made from yours to that one. Can you tell me?

You will not believe how much sound this little thing puts out from 60 solid state watts! Seriously, I have used mine in a crowded room full of drinkers that measured 30' x 90' with 30' ceilings, and it not only "cut it", I had people coming up to me, asking if I was using the huge speakers that were hung from the ceiling for the full-time DJ's rig! I never had my Compact 60's master volume over 40% for that room...

Although I am not certain, I don't believe there were but a couple insignificant changes for the 60/2 (which is what I have)... but mine didn't come with the speaker mount on the bottom, either! The 60/3 has a whole bunch more effects patches from which to choose, but I'm not unhappy with what I have in my 60/2, not at all... the effects are very usable; very smooth, nothing whacky or unorthodox, just sounds that compliment the amp. (I think there are just 4 different settings on mine - I use the "large-hall" reverb).

Hope this helps you make up your mind... I can't believe how long this has been on the Classifieds...

Unless you play at an Italian wedding, the compact 60 is plenty loud for the average venue...
