Default Rainsong SG Shorty vs FT Shorty

A very slight difference in sound. I would be curious if any of you have played them side by side. I remember when I played the Cargo RAW and the Cargo RT, that I did prefer the sound of the RT, as I felt it wasn't as bright and more mellow. Have a listen and add your thoughts!

I have personally played the FT and loved it. But I like the finish on the SG so much better!

from what i've heard and read, the FT finish is more mellow. The SG sounded a little too bright for my test. So the dilemma is finish of function?

I drop my strings down a full step, and this too can mellow any guitar. I suspect that IF the SG is brighter this will help. However, I played a Gloss CO-WS1000N2 and did not find it bright at all. The video that MacNichols did with the two side by side, to my ears, demonstrated such a slight difference. String choice can always help too.
