Default Kudos for Martin Customer Service

I was considering a signed and numbered Martin on the used market. The seller's description stated the serial number and the sequence number, but they didn't seem reasonable to me based on my research of the model.

Unfortunately, by the time the light went on in my head the guitar was on its way, so the seller couldn't check. I sent an email to Martin, they respond in less than a day telling me what the sequence number should be for that serial number which was not what the seller said it was.

Turns out the seller's description was a typo and the guitar arrived today with the label marked the way Martin said it should be.

I honestly didn't expect to get such a quick response from Martin. Great job.

Rich

Thumbs up

I've had the same experience both times I've contacted Martin customer service.

Helpful guys and a very fast turnaround.

I didn't know Martin had a "sequence number". Does it have something to do with the born on date?

What he meant is that in addition to having a serial number, the particular model he bought was a limited edition. Example, it was 1 out of 50.

It was a limited run of xx amount and the all have sequence numbers in addition to serial numbers.
